[DK]  "LOBOTOMI" (performance, 2007), er en usammenhængende koreografisk statement om scenekunst og sine kreative processer, en nærgående, hudløs performance uden handling med udgangspunkt i Burroughs, Hultbergs, Shakespeares og Pessoas tekster.  En mand og hans hjerne, en passiv, træg, ulæselig krop, ikke særlig tilpas med sig selv, ikke i stand til at simulere eller opleve ingen intensitet, ekstase eller opstemthed: -“Alting i mig er i transit - selv min egen sjæl - jeg hører ikke til noget sted, jeg ønsker ingenting, jeg er ingenting - jeg er upersonlige fornemmelsers abstrakte centrum, et glitrende spejl faldet ned med forsiden opad mod verdens mangfoldighed.” (Pessoa)   NB: hele Janteloven er integreret i forestillingen.

[ENG] "LOBOTOMY" (performance, 2007), is an uncoherent choreographical statement about scenic-art and its creative processes, a tactless, raw performance without a story having as a starting point Burroughs’, Hultberg’s, Shakespeare’s & Pessoa’s texts.  A man and his brain, a passive, unreadable body suffering from inertia, not very happy with itself, uncapable of either simulating or experiencing intensity, ecstasy or excitement: -“…you could see the silent, helpless suffering of the BRAIN behind the eyes, then finally the brain must have died, because the eyes WENT OUT, and there was no more feeling in them than a crabs eyes on the end of a stalk.” (Burroughs)  NB: the texts on the screen are excerpts of the danish custom law 'Janteloven'

[DK] "THE CUT" (performance, 2003) var en performance & video-installation om seksualitet, identitet, køn og maskulinitet. L-O-B-O delt sig I 3 karakterer –trilinger med tre forskellige seksuelle identiteter.
Betydningen af normalitet, skønhed, kærlighed, mandlige værdinormer, moderne forholdes udholdenhed, forældreskab, seksualiteter, maskuliniteter, homo & heteronormativitet, transkøn-rettigheder, religiøse, patriakalske idealer om kærlighed og forholde var bl.a nogle af de debaterede emner.   NB: tjek "unCUT"

[ENG] "THE CUT" (performance, 2003) was a performance & videoinstalation on sexuality, identity, gender and masculinity. L-O-B-O divided himself in 3 characters – triplates, with three different sexual identities.
The value and meaning of "normality, beauty and love", modern man's sets of social rules, male-culture values, hetero-relationships endurance and fatherhood, the variety of sexuality(ies) and masculinity(ies), homo and heteronormativity, transgender-rights and religious/patriarchal idealizations of love and relationships are some of the approached issues.   NB: check "unCUT"

[DK] I "VOYEUR" (performance, 2002), findes der en slags mennesker, overvågede og styrede uden egentlig bevidsthed, fri vilje og følelser, De bor indeni den intelligente computer Lyrik… Lyrik forsøger at uddanne dem til historiefortællere, som kan katalogisere og om-arrangere verdenshistorien i billeder ved deres skærme. Lyrik bestemmer hvor meget fortid, nutid og fremtid – barndom, kærlighed, sex og drømme de skal have. Han forærer dem visse erindringer, behov og håb, hvis han mener, at det vil få dem til at arbejde mere effektivt, og afholde dem fra, at stille spørgsmålstegn ved de personlige mål og meninger med deres liv og opgaver. Men to flygtninger finder huller i sikkerheden. Måske er bevidstheden og flugt mulig? Måske findes der en verden udenfor Lyrik!??

[ENG] In "VOYEUR" (performance, 2002) has the supra-intellingent computer LYRIK, converted Image into Reality. Its strongest ideal, the Law, is to repeat indefinitely the act of communicating. Consciousness became an accident and a punishable crime...
People are reduced to voyeurs of endless successions of images and historical events that are condensed, fusioned, altered, repeated in a self-sufficient obcessive game of constant reproduction and simulation (which includes ‘un-information’, ‘over-information’, confusion...) Peoples social inter-actions are virtual -thus easier, faster, more effective, to the extent that living dis-connected can be / is ‘lethal’ to the Self.
A conflict arises when unconformism & speech seems to be re-discovered by two fugitives as the most human of all traits, as a condition for movement, for enlightenment… Confronted with an unexpected new form of disobedience and rebbelion, Lyrik does not hesitate: -law & order must be preserved at all costs.

[DK] "K9" (dans, 2001) var et tæt samarbejde mellem tre mandlige dansere, – Nicolaj Jespersen, Jacob Dorff-Petersen, Ole Birger-Hansen – og koreografen L-O-B-O, en abstrakt danseforestilling over heavy-rock bandet Metallicas musik og malerierne af den tjekkisk kunstner Michal Macku.
Tab, uorden og ensomhed forbundet med maskulinitet er tilbagevendende temaer i dette stykke.

[ENG] In K9 (dance, 2001),  the choreographer created an abstract dance-performance - in close collaboration with 3 male dancers and a video-artist - that took its primal inspiration in the music and universe of the heavy-metal band Metallica and the paintings of czech artist Michal Mácku.
Loss, disorder and loneliness associated with masculinity are recurrent themes in this piece.

[DK] SAUDADE (dans, 2001), er en form for poetisk sorg, en tragisk længsel, som siges at være noget særligt for portugisere. Poeten, sangeren, komponist Nick Cave definerede det rammende: "Vi oplever alle I os selv det, som portugiserne kalder “saudade”, som oversætter en uforklarlig længsel, en for sjælen unavngivet og gådefuld inderlig længsel. Det er denne følelse som lever i forestillingens og inspirationens verden og som er grobunden i deres triste sang ”fado” (fatum/ fate/skæbne). Deres triste sang er Guds Lys, dybt inde, som voldsomt trænger ud gennem deres sår". "SAUDADE (nada#2)" er en hyldest til den portugisik-guitar komponist CARLOS PAREDES.

[ENG] SAUDADE (dance, 2001) is a form of poetic sorrow, a nearly tragic longing, which is said to be something very unique to the portuguese people. Nick Cave, defined it strikingly well: "We all experience within us what the portuguese call SAUDADE, which translates as an inexplicable longing, an unamed and enigmatic yearning of the SOUL. It is this feeling that lives in the realms of imagination and inspiration and is the breeding ground for their sad song FADO (fatum/fate/skæbne). Their sad song is the light of GOD, deep down, blasting up through our wounds"
"SAUDADE (nada#2)" is a tribute to the portuguese-guitar composer CARLOS PAREDES.

Dette er et koreografisk satsning i to dele gjort i fælleskab mellem koreografen, 1 danser og 2 fysiske skuespillere, hvor dans, tekst, indarbejdes i permanente afbrydelser.

[ENG]   [ { ( " ... deaf - mute ... " ) } ] (dance-theatre, 2000), is a choreographic-work that dives into the vast universe of human expressive codes. It is a reflective dance inspired in human-ethology and linguistics. A poetic disruptive atmosphere meant to reach all senses. Can one reduce a body to a language? Is it possible a theory of the movement of bodies? This piece was created colaboratively by  the choreographer, 1 dancer and 2 physical-actors, where dance, text was worked out of the principle of continuous disruption.
Where do words loose their meaning? Where do we shut down and say: - [ ( " ....enough... " ) } ]

[DK] I ”the cut-GOD” (performance, 2000), danner uddrag fra videnskabelige skrifter omkring transseksualitet, kønsskifte og bioteknologi rammen om Jean Cocteau’s “La voix Humaine / Den Menneskelige Stemme”, i udviklingen af begreberne om normalitet, skønhed og kærlighed og hvad der kunne være grænserne for forestillingen om maskulinitet.
Videreudvikling af denne work-in-progress -som til sidst blev til 1/3 del af THE CUT (03)- foregik med et legat fra den Nordisk Institut for Moderne Kunst (Helsinki).

[ENG] In "the cut - GOD" (performance 2000), extracts of scientific writings on the subjects of transsexuality, transgenderism and biotechnology are framing some excerpts Jean Cocteau’s "La Voix Humaine / The Human Voice", in the development of considerations over the concepts of normality, beauty and love and of where could be set frontiers for the idea of masculinity.
"the cut - GOD" see itself also grounded on the statements of danish transsexuals (both male-to-female and female-to-male) taken in Copenhagen in the Autumn 1999 and Spring 2000 at discussions about their stigmatized identity in one of the most liberal societies of the world.

Poetiske, intense atmosfærer, med uddrag fra Jarmans udtalelser om kunst, aids,og venskab.

[ENG]  "BRIDGES OF SIGHS" (dance, 2000), is a series of 4 very short dance-performances inspired in the english cult-film director Derek Jarman. Every of these short abstract performances, like delicate live-paintings, reveal a poetically intense atmosphere, where some excerpts of a dialog w/ Jarman on themes like aids, art and friendship smoothly come across.

[DK] "the cut - DENIAL" (dans, 1999) benytter sig af interviews med græske mænd fra Athen (bl.a homoseksuelle), der fortæller om mandighed, slægtsskab og kærlighed blandt moderne mænd.
Symbolske klip fra filmhistorien, andre medier, og tekstuddrag fra Platons “Symposiet”, bidrager til til en reflection over maskulinitet. En maskulinitet som stadig, i al sin mangfoldighed, er influeret af den gamle opfattelse af det heroiske mythos - styrke, vitalitet, udfarenhed, vedholdenhed, potens, perfektion, magt osv.

[ENG] In "the cut - DENIAL"  (dance, 1999) are used interviews with greek men (among them some male-homossexuals) on the subjects of manhood, kinship and love among modern greek men.
Simbolic classic sequences from the history of film, nowadays Media and excerpts of Plato’s philosophical essay "Symposium" also contribute to a dissertation on masculinity. A masculinity that (in one way or another) still is -in all its diversity- influenced by old conceptions of the heroic Mythos -vitality, excess, agressiveness, permanent capacity for action, potency, excelency on the performance and on the result, power, proof of virility.
